An overall poor team performance which lacked our usual desire and commitment against a more physical and hungrier team that bullied us for large parts of the game.

Defensively the back 3 of Katherine, Abby and Lucy came out of the game with credit along with the usual hard working Caitlyn.

Darcie’s cameo in a defensive centre midfield role caught the eye and Roxy’s aggression in the tackle is returning after injury.

Cookley had no answer to Telford’s star player who scored an hat trick with 2 long range efforts, a penalty and an overall dominate display in midfield.

This was the sort of game we expected more of at the start season from the jump in age and placement in the Premier League.

Up and till now we have handled things well, save for one or two games, but, need to recognise if our standards drop we will be punished.

A last minute strike was a choker, but, if you don’t challenge the first ball and allow the free shot good players can punish you.

Stay focussed, cup draw tomorrow night for both semi finals.
